The Beach to Bay Heritage Area (BBHA) is one of thirteen state-certified heritage areas which aims to to preserve, protect and promote the cultural, natural and historical heritage of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.
Our heritage area is packed full of heritage places to visit and explore. Countless historical sites and markers help tell our history here. On top of that we have several other attractions that contribute to our Shore culture. Restaurants, Farmers Markets, and Distilleries help define Shore life and are popular ways to savor our cuisine.

Adkins Farm Market is owned by Gaylon & Tammy Adkins and is located near the Salisbury Airport on Mt. Hermon Rd. They are open from May through the end of October, and their goods change seasonally. The village of Allen falls between Princess Anne and Salisbury has been endeavoring to preserve their local culture and history with the help of the Allen Historical Society. This effort was aided by the opening of the Allen Historical Society Museum in the Huffington-Pollitt House where visitors and residents can learn more about the history of Allen through various exhibits.
