Come celebrate the life and contributions of Frederick Douglass in honor of his speech at the Salisbury Court House in 1880 to raise money for an addition of a second floor to the John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church, now the Charles H. Chipman Cultural Center. Preservation Trust of Wicomico and Wicomico Historical Society are excited to share the beautiful bronze sign that members of the community helped to purchase. Come join us on Friday, Nov. 15th at the Old Court House, 125 N. Division Street by the government building at 12 noon. This is an historic occasion and the first of many historic signs they hope to install in Salisbury.
