Date, Time, Location:
Saturday, December 14th | 5:30pm to 7pm
Nature Center at Pocomoke River State Park – Shad Landing
3461 Worcester Highway in Snow Hill, MD
Event Details:
For many animals, nighttime is the best time to look for food, build a nest, or play with their siblings. This class teaches you how nocturnal animals adapt to low visibility at night. You can learn through hands-on demonstrations and experiments how animals use all their senses to get around in the dark. We will also embark on a night hike and might be able to detect nocturnal animals such as owls, opossums, or deer.
This event is outdoors. Please wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight if you have one.
