Soon America will be celebrating 250 years of independence as the first modern republic in a world of monarchies and empires. But few Americans know about the events leading up to the American Revolution.  One of those events was the Boston Tea Party which was only one of a series of such events held throughout the colonies. Dr. Thompson will discuss tea, tea parties and the coming of the American Revolution.  This talk will set the stage for the American Revolution which will be celebrated in cities and states throughout the United States during this coming year.
