New information from the life of an icon of American history is discussed at Salisbury University during the lecture “Harriet Tubman’s World: Archaeology at Blackwater”. SU alumnus Aaron Levinthal, archaeologist with the Maryland State Highway Administration will discuss recently discovered evidence of the homesite of Harriet Tubman’s father in Dorchester County. The lecture is sponsored by the Edward H. Nabb Center for Delmarva History & Culture. Admission is free, and the public is invited. The lecture will begin at 6p.m.in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall, on the Salisbury University campus.
