After a lecture on contemporary debates about Black history, a panel of scholars and community members discuss the historic and present importance of studying Black history and strategies for combating efforts to remove it from school curricula. Light refreshments will be provided.

Admission is free and the public is invited.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
