Event Details:

Celebrate the 135th anniversary of the 2nd Morrill Act on Tuesday, April 22, with a Wellness Walk (1.89 miles) through UMES’ campus, beginning at 10 a.m.

The 2nd Morrill Act of 1890 established 19 land-grant institutions for African American students, including UMES.

The walk will begin outside Ella Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center on campus (Rain location: Hytche Athletic Center) and end near Student Services Center and William P. Hytche Athletic Center.

Wear UMES colors. Sign in ahead of the walk and pick up your free commemorative giveaway while supplies last. There is no cost to participate.
