Come out to Unity Square on the second Saturday of the month through October for the Unity Thru Music series, presented by Delmarvalous Americana Live. Shows are free to attend and run from 7-9 p.m. at Unity Square. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show.

This Saturday’s show, on Sept. 14, will feature Journos. Journos is a charismatic and compelling songwriting duo made up of award-winning journalist and lyricist Bryan Russo and workhorse punk-rocker Ryan Abbott. Adding drummer Ryan Jared, their musical range and bold message is as assertive as it is disruptive.

In addition to the City of Salisbury, the shows are sponsored by The Guitar Man (877-484-2877), with food and drinks by the Mad Hatter Cafe. In the case of inclement weather, shows will move to the Mad Hatter Cafe, located at 501 W. Main St. in Salisbury.
