Join the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture and Skipjack Heritage Inc. in celebrating Maryland’s historic skipjacks and the people who man them.
Joining us for the evening will be Pres Harding, grandson of legendary skipjack builder Bronza Parks, Shawn Ridgley, Wade Murphy III, and Stoney Whitelock.
Come hear the stories of these iconic Skipjack captains, see historic photos, and listen to sea shanties.
Voices of the Skipjack, a documentary with a personal look at these iconic working boats through the perspective of the watermen, will also be screened during the evening. See the trailer.
