Sarah will walk the class through how to throw on the wheel step by step. If you prefer to hand build your are welcome to bring your own idea to create. After Sarah gets the class throught the first piece on thehttps://canvas.artleagueofoceancity.org/classes wheel, she will guide those who are hand building.

At the end of the lesson, if you made more than one piece, you will choose your favorite 1 piece and select 1 glaze color. The teacher will finish the pottery by dipping it in selected glaze and it will be ready in 2-4 weeks.

You can also choose to sign up for a class in the future to come back, learn trimming and glazing and keep more of your pottery finishing it yourself.

Please be prepared, tie your hair back, and get ready to get dirty. You will be playing in the mud.

If you cannot pick up your work within 1-6 months of the class, please choose to have it shipped. Small boxes are $15.00 each.
